How to determine the size of your pergola for 4×4 wood posts
The height (B) is calculated from the height (A) of the short side.
The length of the angled wood (D) can be determined by the span (C). Use the top length (in inches) as the C measurement for a top.
Example: For a 10×12 Pergola, the C measurement would be 120 inches.
A: What is the height of the short side(A) inch( According to your measurement size)
B: The Length/Span of the tall side will be (B=A+0.259*D) inch
C: What is your desired span (C) inch (According to your measurement size)
D: The length of the angled lumber will be (D=C/0.966) inch

Great kit, great results
Very nice kit , did it without any help in about 6 hours. I’m 50, so my body feels like I got hit by a truck. I made mine 8 feet high , 10 feet wide and 8 feet deep. The parts were perfect and the screws were great..

Good buy, the only thing that I would say is that I wish that there were instructions. We had to take our pergola apart 3 times due to not having the beams in the braces the correct way.
