Different Uses – well made and sturdy
I used these brackets for a completely different purpose, and they worked great! I made this to cover a fireplace vent that was having the rainwater create a pinging sound when it rained. I’d have had a really hard time building this without the brackets. They’re really well made and seem very sturdy. I’d buy them again.

Needs more secure hole at top inside for flushed fit
Would be nice if inside where the wood sits inside the 45o angle had a screw hole at the top for extra secure and maintains flushed.

Not worth the money.
They look nice but when you go to install and screw in the 2×4 the whole bracket tilts and creates a gap between the 2×4 and bracket.I tried multiple way to install but the metal on the flange lets the other side lift up. Also looks like drywall screws that come with it and they don’t bite into the wood at all.
