45 minutes assembly — piece of cake. Nice chair.
Before I finally landed on this chair I read about a million articles with buying advice for ergonomic desk chairs, looked for second hand expensive chairs, read so many Amazon reviews. Obviously you can spend a whole lot of money on an ergonomic desk chair (even used ones), but I really didn’t want to.I just bought this today, so the jury is out on long term wear, ,but I can say that the components feel solid, assembly was easy, it is *very* comfortable so far, and — even more to the point — VERY adjustable in so many different ways that physical therapists etc recommended in the articles I read. I am 5 foot 5; in order to put the chair at the right ergonomic height for my particular desk and keyboard, I need a footrest so my feet aren’t dangling. But that would be the case with any chair in my setup. The headrest is great, the arms are soft and comfortable, the back support piece is perfect, and everything can be adjusted as you sit in it. Rollers are quiet and stable on laminate floor.The box was a good size and heavy enough (~32 lbs) to be awkward for an unfit middle aged lady to wrangle down apartment steps; however, the Amazon driver brought it straight to my door. The chair was carefully packed. Whoever wrote the assembly instructions (which are in English and Spanish) for this chair is some kind of technical writing genius — I have never seen clearer or more easy-to-follow instructions. From slicing open the tape on the box to finished chair was 45 minutes for me. All you need for assembly is included — also fabric gloves (for protecting your manicure? I guess?) and extra bolts and washers.Super buy. If I’d known I could get such an affordable and massive upgrade from my previous garbage chair I would have done it long ago. Great value for the money. I rarely write reviews but all the reviews I read helped me make a great decision, so here ya go.

Clear instructions, cool, and comfortable chair.
Clear instructions, cool, and comfortable. Despite being 5′, I was able to put it together by myself. Since I’m short, I need a footstool, but I need one for every chair. The head rest is made for a taller person (longer torso), so I unscrewed it and leave it hanging over the chair. I can rest my head comfortably when I lean back. I like that you can adjust the height of the arms, have the chair be able to rock/lean back; and if you do screw the headrest on, you can tilt the headrest. You can also adjust the height of the chair. It’s very sturdy and heavy. I had a little difficulty putting the seat onto the bottom/stand of the chair as I’m short and petite and the chair is really heavy for me. I had to flip the chair and put the bottom part on, as I couldn’t lift it and see where the opening was. Still, I did put it together alone and am sitting on it right now. The instructions were clear and easy to follow, and the parts were well wrapped and organized.

Bought this as a gift for my husband as his previous chair had broke.Pros:Fairly easy to put together. I did this by myself in about 40 minutes.Directions are very easy to follow.Comfortable to sit and lean backAdjustable height easy to useCon:Neck rest is not adjustableUnfortunately when my husband sits in the chair (6’0 tall) his shoulders nearly come to the top of the neck rest, hitting it awkwardly and making it uncomfortable. He can’t lay his head back at all as it just hits awkwardly. When I sit in it (5’5 tall) my neck hits perfect to rest in the neck rest.We tried to see if we could adjust this but unfortunately there is no option. We wish there was an option to adjust the neck rest higher or lower as needed for the user.

Well worth the price!
Really comfortable, I use for gaming and studying. If I am not sitting in couch, I am sitting on this because I study 7-10 hours a day.My back does not hurt ever, it leans back and forth. This is the second chair I bought from Amazon and I much prefer this one.The only question is how long it will last, will update when I need to upgrade.The arm stands also go up pretty high, so I can fit a memory foam pillow on the seat if I want a bit more cushion. Thought I switch between cushion and no cushion because it’s already quite comfortable.Easy assembly too! Good lumbar and cervical support. Adjustable for both too.

Needs improvements
I bought 4 chairs for my table.Easy to put together.The arms are too short. They move too much and there is no way to lock the arms in place.The worse thing is the material used to cover the arms. It is sticky. Each chair has the same problem so I took a pair of socks to cover the arms. So, you should offer custom arm covers and a way to lock the arms.For the weight allowed the pneumatic support that holds and adjusts the height of the seat holds me quite well.The wheels stick out beyond the seat circumference so everyday I run into them as I go to sit down but it is a good thing as you can be seated and you are not going to flip over if you bend down from the seat to reach for something on the floor.The seat itself should be able to accommodate a person of a larger size a big man. It is like you made the chair for little people that weigh a lot (narrow seat, short arms, vs. a large wheel span and powerful the pneumatic pump).The neck support requires a pillow. Without the pillow my head and neck do not rest on the mesh.Regarding comfort, I sit in the chair for a lot of time each day. Although it feels a bit hard the seat is fairly comfortable. It would be more comfortable if it were bigger.I purchased these chairs because of the welcoming way the company describes itself, therefore, I hope they will make some changes to improve the chair. I would not buy them if I had the chance again, not without improvements made. I don’t need four more chairs, so, I will live with my purchase. If the chairs already had those improvements my opinion would be different. They may be perfect for someone else of a different body type (and age).
