Heavy and well built brackets
I used these to build a rustic porch attached to my chicken coop. They are very sturdy and heavy. The standard 4×4 fits in the opening like a glove! They come with the needed hardware to attach to your surface. The install was easy and they are very sturdy and supportive.I am very happy with the outcome of these brackets.

Solid post brackets.
I used these on a wooden deck to hold 4″, pressure treated, posts. They are strong, well made, and sized appropriately for 4″ (3-1/2″ actual) posts….These also have the ability to have any fluid that gets into the brackets to drain out – which will help prevent a wooden post from rotting. The powder coating seems to be applied well, and should hold up for a long time. The brackets include appropriate screws to hold it in place on the surface it is mounted to, and to hold the installed post in place. These are also a little taller than other brackets I have used – which adds stability to the post. Very happy with these.

Well built 4×4 brackets
These steel 4×4 brackets are very well made and easy to work with – no sharp edges, reliably placed holes, reliable dimensions. There are several 4×4 posts holding up our porch ceiling and these brackets are a quick and easy way to reinforce those without having to replace the entire post. I’ll definitely be getting more of these in the future as they make installing these posts fast, easy, and secure.

Set Of Two Heavy Duty Black Metal Post Bases
This set of two heavy duty black post bases for 4″ x 4″ posts are very high quality. The metal is welded very well and has a very good coating of black paint which appears to be powder coat. This set came with detailed instructions and other parts for this project (see photo attached to this review for reference). However, the M9 Hex Socket is on the parts list but is not included in the box. I have removed one star from this review as this item should clearly have been included.

Incredible value for a high quality, durable product
I’m currently renovating my deck and the biggest part of the project is extending the width of the stairs from about 4’ to almost 10’. I’m also installing new railings. As part of the stair widening, I have to relocate the existing post for the stair railing. That’s precisely where this product was a HUGE timesaver. These bases are made out of high quality, thick steel and nicely powder coated. Their height ensures that all installed bolts securely grab onto the 4×4’s that’s installed inside of them. Another added bonus is that these post bases come with all required fasteners which only increases their value. Compared to similar, name-brand, off-the-shelf, post bases, these are an absolute steal and the quality is just as good. If you’re in need of post bases, don’t hesitate to pick these up — you’ll be glad you did.

Impressive! Heavy duty brackets – Clever Design
The QZER 4×4 base brackets are exceptionally heavy duty! I am impressed.The package arrived with two individually wrapped 4×4 base brackets, all mounting hardware, and an instruction sheet. These are some really heavy duty, and high quality brackets – thick steel, excellent welds, professional powder coated paint…The bracket can support a 3 5/8″ by 3 5/8″ beam and is 5.5″ tall. The design is clever because it keeps the 4×4 about 3/4″ away from the ground with a welded support bracket inside to prevent rotting with direct contact to the ground. The base support bracket has four pre-drilled holes on the bottom to attach to your concrete footings or floor, and four pre-drilled holes on each side to securely attach to your 4×4.These are impressive base brackets, and I will be very comfortable using them for our Gazebo base.

Heavy duty post anchors!
These are some nice post anchors. The coating is nice, seems really durable and has exceeded my expectations! The metal is good and thick, seems pretty tough and the inner size is exactly the size advertised. The hardware included is nice, albeit a little bit light duty feeling, not sure if ill use it or replace it with proper hardware but its nice they included it either way. I really like these, I have no doubt they are going to hold up well!

Meh, these might serve some for shorter and unloaded posts, but I cannot recommend.
After some strong hopes I wound up not using these for mid deck installation because they would have required unnecessary and additional cracking for the mounting. I wound up sisteringy the decorate posts I had to the 6x columns below the deck by cutting 4x holes in the decking. The 4x cumns I installed were only for decoration/lighting installation but are 8 feet long and could be wind loaded or leaned up on by guests and the simple tabbed ears are not confidence inspiring, even if lagged to decking boards— the tabs either need to be braced (with 45 buttresses) and on all sides to instill confidence in application.
