The curtains are being used in the outside of our residence to block the western, afternoon sun from our front door and the planters located there. The opaqueness of the fabric appears to be about 60%, making the front porch and door much cooler. The curtains are well made and its graphics have received rave reviews by the neighbors. The shipping is made from China, but arrived 4 days earlier than estimated. Happy with the purchase. G. Goff
